Angola 2010: Gyan silences a nation as Ghana advances to semi-finals

Ghana are an unlikely guests in the party of the top 4 African football nations as the Black Stars broke the hearts of millions of Angolan’s with a 19th minute Asamoah Gyan goal in their quarter final encounter. The Angolans came into the game with guns blazing. They had planned to win and they executed their plan to near perfection, but Ghana had other plans. The Black Stars fought gallantly holding off all the arsenals of the Angolans.

Congratulations to the team!

Asamoah Gyan: “At the beginning people were thinking were too young, but football is not about age, but determination and concentration”
