MONDAY MORNING EXPERT: Glo (Ghana) Premier League Match Day 16 Analyses

So, we have had 16 weeks of exciting football. Top of the news this week is the motor accident involving Ghanaian referees P.P. Awuah, R. Lathbridge, and K. Bentil which took the life of P.P. Awuah (may his soul rest in peace).

MATCH DAY HIGHLIGHT

Nathaniel Asamoah (Kotoko) murdered his former team, All Stars, in cold blood at the hitherto invincible Wa Park with two well taken goals.

Sumaila Nyanya (Real Tamale United) was too strong and had too much pace for the Hearts of Oak defenders at the Accra Sports Stadium. The striker led R. T. U to complete a season double victory over Hearts of Oak.

Coach J.E, Sarpong (Liberty Professionals) must be feeling proud of his veteran goal keeper, Osei Boateng, in post against Dwarfs at the Robert Mensah Stadium. The experienced shot stopper pulled a marvellous 90th minute save from an attempt at goal by Michael Nsaidu (Dwarfs). The Dwarfs winger dived to connect to an intelligent cross from one-time continental giant Emmanuel Osei Kufuour (Dwarfs).

Bismark Asiedu (Dwarfs) may have added his name to the score sheet on Match Day 16, but he will feel he could have contributed more if he had not blasted that clear one-v-one opportunity with his left foot almost to row Z.
