GLO (GHANA) PREMIER LEAGUE MATCH DAY 22 IN FIGURES

The top liner for the day, Hearts vrs Kotoko did not disappoint. Kumasi Asante Kotoko played a relaxed, yet tactically apt game to beat Hearts of Oak, who seemed to have most of the possession, by two first half goals without reply. Ivorian Ahmed ‘Simba’ Toure took the lead early in the game before Midfield general Daniel Nii Adjei fired a ballistic salvo beyond the reach of Black Stars goal keeper and namesake Sammy Adjei. Try as they did, Hearts of Oak could not equalize. Kotoko fans were jubilant right from the beginning of the game till several hours after the game as they recorded only their second win against Hearts of Oak at Accra in the last decade.
