92nd Minute Yaw Alexander Goal Saves Berekum Chelsea’s Blushes

Match Day 2 of the Ghana Glo Premier League kicked this weekend with a top liner between Berekum Chelsea and Liberty Professionals. Berekum Chelsea had to wait till 2 minutes after the full 90 minutes to clinch the much needed winner to go on top of the league log with four points.

Chelsea played well, but it was Liberty who had plans to cause havoc early in the game. Liberty took the lead through Zuberu Fuseini after which they sat back and defended for 92 minutes. Chelsea’s were however relentless. Captain Abdul Basit pulled one back through the penalty spot before Yaw Alexander got a 92 minute goal.

1-1 Adul Basit (pen)
