Women’s U-20 2012: Black Princesses’ Cookies Crumble

Ghana’s Black Princesses crushed out of the Women’s U-20 World Cup 2012 in the most painful of ways after concedeing a last-minute goal against Germany.

In the two games played so far, Ghana has had great possession, passed the ball well and have not lacked skill. However, after 180 minutes, Ghana conceded 5 goals and scored 0; revealing coach R. Sackey’s weak attacking strategy.

Ghana has one more game against China, but that will just be for pride. The proverbial ‘Drawing Board’ will be returned to and Ghana might come back stronger next time.

Capt. M. Myles was hopeful at half time

Goalkeeper P. Mantey could not hold her tears back
